Going the Distance
Top golfers like Tiger Woods can achieve a swing speed at impact with the ball of over 130mph. Most amateurs will be lucky to average around 80-90mph. For amateur golfers, each mph of swing speed could add up to 5 yards in distance (depending on playing conditions).
Why is my swing speed be slower than it should be?
It could be:
- Physical (your bio-mechanical make-up)
- Your equipment (e.g. your ball, your club-head weight/ design and contact face)
- Your swing mechanics (e.g. getting the right trajectory, whether you hit on an upswing or downswing rather than horizontally, swing plane etc.)
The Gee-Swing™ Training DVD will help you:
- Increase rotational speed
- Achieve flexibility
- Build up strength from the core
- Develop muscle memory to achieve optimum rotational movement and find the right plane
Getting each of these right will help to increase swing speed. Good golfers understand that increasing club-head speed is not down to rotating the arms faster.
Gee-Swing™ can help add value to other training aids by accurately measuring swing speed control.
Other training Devices that may help include
